Surveys are a vital part of the property purchase process. They highlight any problems with your property so that you don’t end up with a large unexpected bill in the future. We offer a number of surveys but below are our most popular: -

Homebuyer Reports (formerly the Homebuyers Survey and Valuation Survey (HSV))

Moving home or buying property is a very stressful time and this is why our quick turnaround (24 hour) Homebuyer Report process is one of our most popular services. You simply send us an e-mail and we will book a 24 hour slot to conduct the survey, create the report and deliver the report either by email or post within 24 hours.

Building Surveys

Our more comprehensive Building Survey gives you everything that a Homebuyers Report covers, but provides a more detailed picture of the construction and condition. It is likely to be needed if the property is, for example, of unusual construction, is dilapidated or has been extensively altered, or where a major conversion or renovation is planned. It is usually tailored to the client’s individual requirements. The Report includes technical information on construction and materials as well as details of a whole range of defects.

Condition Surveys

Knowing how things are at the start means that you have something to compare against at the finish. Our Condition Surveys provide a comprehensive review of your building. We highlight any issues that you need to be aware of, and provide this all in a simple report so that you have a third party testimony on the condition of the building at a snapshot of time. These are normally used for Dilapidation or Party Wall (etc.) Act works.
